Songs from Shakespeare bracelet, woman with birds, grey and black sage amethyst beads and etched copper, reader jewelry, 7 3/4 inches long

Item Description

This bracelet measures 7 3/4" long (19.5cm) and features a handcrafted copper etched component with a design of a woman with birds from the book Songs From Shakespeare. I've etched the design into solid copper sheet metal with ferric chloride, then patinaed it, tumbled it, hand polished it, and sealed it with a permanent clear lacquer. Etching is a process that has been used for centuries to create gorgeous designs in metal.

I have paired the etched copper component with grey and black sage amethyst beads.

The toggle clasp is made from copper-plated lead-free pewter. The jump rings are made of antiqued copper and enameled copper. I've used antiqued copper wire to securely link the bracelet together.

The etched component measures 2" across ( and it is curved slightly to fit the wrist. It should give you years of enjoyment. I have sealed the front and back of the component with a permanent lacquer. However, due to the nature of wearing a bracelet, the lacquer might wear off the back of the component from friction. If the lacquer ever wears off, it can be easily touched up with clear nail polish.
