Blue Tibetan om bracelet, yoga jewelry, metal etching, African turquoise beads, 7 1/4 inches long

Item Description

This bracelet measures 7.25" long (18.5cm) and features a handcrafted copper etched component with a beautiful hand drawn Tibetan om symbol by artist Sumi Saara. I've etched the design into solid copper sheet metal with ferric chloride, then patinaed it, tumbled it, hand polished it, and sealed it with a permanent clear lacquer. Etching is a process that has been used for centuries to create gorgeous designs in metal.

I have paired the etched component with a flat black leather strap. I've accented it with dangles of blue green African turquoise beads (a kind of jasper) and a fun textured ring.

The leather ends and the toggle clasp are made from copper-plated lead-free pewter. The textured ring is made from copper-plated lead-free pewter. The jump rings are made of antiqued copper and enameled copper, and the headpins are made of antiqued copper.

The etched component measures 1 1/8" across (28mm). It should give you years of enjoyment. If the lacquer ever wears off, it can be easily touched up with clear nail polish.
